Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of ScrapRival ("the service"), an independent product operated by a sole founder based in Spain. By creating an account you agree to them.

The service

ScrapRival monitors publicly available web pages and feeds that you configure, and sends you AI-generated competitive briefings and alerts. Plan limits (number of competitors and sources) are described on the pricing page and enforced in the product.

Trial and billing

• New accounts get a 14-day free trial. No card required.
• Paid subscriptions are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record, under their checkout terms. Prices are shown before you pay.
• You can cancel anytime from Settings; access continues until the end of the period already paid. Statutory refund rights are unaffected.

Acceptable use

• Only configure sources that are publicly accessible. Do not use the service to access content behind logins or paywalls.
• Do not use the service for unlawful purposes, to harass, or to overload third-party websites.
• Do not attempt to circumvent plan limits, rate limits, or the security of the service.
• One account per person or company; you are responsible for activity under your account.

AI-generated content

Briefings and summaries are generated by AI from scraped public content. They may contain errors or omissions. They are informational only and not professional, legal, or investment advice — verify before acting on them.

Intellectual property

The service, its design and its software remain ours. Your briefings and your configuration data are yours. Monitored third-party content belongs to its respective owners.

Availability and warranty

The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, nor that every change on a monitored page will be detected.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where reasonable.

Changes and law

If these terms change materially, we will notify you by email before the changes take effect. These terms are governed by Spanish law. Questions: hello@scraprival.com.
